How to Write an Issue Essay - GRE Sample QuestionsHave you been thinking about writing an issue essay for a course or for an exam? Or are you just struggling with a standard essay? Do you need some advice?While I had to take a number of AP courses and I did go to high school, the last class I took was in high school. The problem is that the first couple of college classes I took were in college, so I don't know if they were lower level or if it was just the students at my college that didn't know how to write an essay.One thing I've learned over the years is that it's better to read and study and really get good at doing something over more general college-level classes. That said, I think that there is a difference between an essay and a question and I would like to explain what that is. Let's say you're taking an English literature class.On the first day of class, you have a presentation to give on your topic (usually) and you've written the first paragraph on a thesis statement. Y ou present the point and try to make it logical. After you give the introduction, the professor will ask you a question.Here's where it gets really interesting. This is where you have the choice to answer the question or not answer it. If you're lucky, the professor will ask you a specific question that is phrased in a way that you can use the first paragraph from your paper to help answer the question, but unfortunately this doesn't always happen.Now, you can still write an essay about the point you're trying to make. You just have to understand that there are situations where you have to either omit the first paragraph or you have to cite it somewhere else in the essay. It's all up to you.Another example is a hypothetical situation. In this case, you have a hypothetical situation in the present. A situation in the present is different from a scenario from a book. If you were asked a question about how to get a promotion, a scenario from a book might be a good answer.Basically, a u nique essay is one that is not based on a common theme or on anything you know. While your thesis statement may be similar to the point of an essay, it needs to be relevant to the essay's topic.
