In the movie there were scenes In which they were In a battle fighting and the canon ball would come out of the canon and travel through the all at a fast speed hit ground a blow up. The canon balls did not blow up back then, they simply hit the ground and took out whatever was In the way, because they were made from cast-Iron. (The history place. W. . . COM) And It also showed them having good accuracy, cannons only had one purpose taking out as many people as possible In one place, did not focus on accuracy when they made the cannon. That Is why they had multiple cannons set up behind the Infantry men.The guns the used In the movie resembled, showed them reloading in under 5 seconds, it took 15 seconds if not more to reload. They had to put the gunpowder in, put the tiny ball in, pack it down, all this would take more then 5 seconds(Countryman 2002, 67). We will write a custom essay sample on The American Revolution Vs. This was not possible because, during that time the guns werent spring loaded they were based on gun power, and a tiny ball. In the movie the Patriot, It showed the homeowner owning a bunch of slaves. It showed them plowing the fields, harvesting their crops, doing housework. It also showed the home owners treating the slaves like their family, in that time black people werent considered equal to the white man. So on a rare occasion this would happen. Back then slaves were treated so badly, if they were on a plantation they would most likely be served a small serving of food, and blanket for adults to sleep with. Most of the time the children were left with nothing to keep them warm so they had to put their feet in the coals of the fire to keep them warm(History ,www. . COM) In the movie it showed them Joined them eating with the family, and they probably had there beds to sleep in.It also told us that if there were slaves fighting in the American Revolution for the patriot side, they were granted freedom after one year of service The Transportation in the movie was for the most part, was the same as in the American Revolution. Mostly in the American Revolution, only the officers got to ride the horses not the infantry men. And the men who rode the horses carried bayonets well, not Just swords. The militia men did have the horses from their farms, but in the movie it did not show where they got these horses from it only showed the main characters horses and where they got them from. They used ships to transport troops around, and they used them at battles sometimes, it did not show this during the movie, but they were used. The battles of the movie werent in the location of the real battles. They used the same type of fighting technique where they would all line up in lines and one side shoot first, then the other side would return , 88). The British mostly take NOW, but in the movie the usually killed them all, except for the main militia group, when it came to them they took them as prisoner and were goanna hang them. The battle of Bunker hill was barely spoken about, and they didnt show it in the movie. Owed the battle at where General Cornwall is made his surrender, and war was one by the Patriots(History notes, In class). Revolution. Whether it be the battles, the way they got to the battles, the weapons used, or how the slaves were treated, the American Revolution was much more then what that movie made it seem to be. Integrated Case Study Bandon Group, Inc. Essay Essay Example

Integrated Case Study: Bandon Group, Inc. Essay Essay This paper is the continuance of Bandon Group Inc. integrated instance survey. This portion of the instance survey mines feasibleness of an ERP system at Bandon Group and measure alternate ERP and CRM bundles for Bandon Group and do recommendations for a solution which will run into their demands. Measure 8: Determining the feasibleness of an ERP system From the description of the executive directors of the divisions. it is pretty clear that Bandon Group has encountered large challenges with the current IT state of affairs. Many of the issues discussed perchance will be solved by restructuring and re-engineering the organisation. the concern procedure and by puting the bequest systems with an ERP system. ERP provides the anchor for an endeavor broad information system. A primary benefit of ERP is easier entree to reliable. integrated information. A related benefit is the riddance of excess informations and the rationalisation of procedures. which consequence in significant cost nest eggs ( Lau. 2003 ) . The quandary was to make up ones mind whether the system should be centralized or decentralized. The execution of the CRM packages in the divisions were decentralized and the division troughs were seeking better direction information but they were meeting informations relational job. In general. when we look at the current IT state of affairs particularly the usage and execution of CRM and OMD application. it is unbearable. The job get worse when the company plans to spread out its concern with the bing state of affairs. The reply for Bandon Group should prosecute and EPR solution perfectly is yes. That would be my recommendation. Basically ERP execution requires organisations to re-engineer their key concern in cardinal ways and reconstituting the overall organisation system because the ERP is at that place to turn to concern issues and to put the company in a better competitory environment and place. Kumar ( 2010 ) stress that directors must carry on a feasibleness survey of the current state of affairs to measure the organization’s demands by analysing the handiness hardware. package. database ad in house computing machine expertness and do the determination to implement ERP where integrating is indispensable. To make up ones mind whether Bandon Group should purse for ERP solution. we should reconsider the benefits of implementing ERP. As Sumner ( 2005 ) outlines the benefits. Some of the chief benefits ERP he mentioned. ERP maximizes throughput of information Minimize response clip to clients and increase interaction with clients. Increase interaction across the endeavor.Improve on-time bringing.Reduce direct operating disbursal.Increase interaction with providers. etc. When we come to the Bandon Group practical instance. integrating job was critical for all divisions. Some of the countries that ERP overcome are: Coordination: after implementing ERP. it has been confirmed that ERP has the ability to back up coordination across concern maps. Database: by implementing ERP. it is possible to incorporate informations so that informations will hold the same significance across multiple maps. Procedure: after implementing ERP. it has been realized consistent concern procedures which are based upon an information theoretical account. Information: Pursuing ERP makes real-time information consistent Information system: ERP has enabled stand-along systems to go incorporate systems. Once once more. it is my recommendation to Bandon Group to purse CRM solution. Like ERP. it is an incorporate attack to pull offing relationships by concentrating on client keeping and relationship development ( Chen and Popovich. 2003 ) and CRM initiatives additions fight. Adding to their notes. they said that CRM offers customization. simpleness. and convenience for finishing minutess. regardless of the channel used for interaction. Sumner ( 2005 ) portion their thought. The chief features he distinguished CRM facilitates client contact and name list direction. It maintains information on client contacts in a database and prognosis customer’s needs. It organizes selling runs.Enables questions to a merchandise selling database. Delivers online systems that enables clients to configure merchandises online. Handles customers’ services. It my recommendation to Bandon Group to implement EPR firs and CRM follows because ERP provides CRM package. Conceptually. ERP covers all the basic concern procedure but CRM systems focus specifically on procedures at the client interface ( Schubert. 2010 ) . The current state of affairs at Bandon Group is non limited to client relationship or the job of Bandon Group is non limited to deficiency of gross revenues and selling informations. the charge system. web enabled support system. better bill or the integrating of the package but the company and its procedure need overall concern restructure and re-engineering because that is all about ERP. Measure 9: Determining ERP/CRM design issues Business processing work loads are among the most demanding work loads in the endeavor. These include transactional work loads reflecting the â€Å"engine† of a business’ orders and gross revenues. ERP workloads for pull offing work flows. and CRM for pull offing client relationships and determination direction solutions. These work loads need to be available to stop users. terminal clients. and concern spouses. To accomplish that end. they are typically supported by a combination of hardware features. such as constitutional dependability and scalability characteristics. and package features. such as system direction and support for high handiness. In visible radiation of this. my recommendation of ERP and CRM bundles for Bandon Group would be implementing Microsoft Dynamics CRM. The Microsfot Dynamics ERP and CRM is designed to assist any organisation get and retain clients ( Microsoft. n. vitamin D ) . The package enables to execute and automatize common concern under takings including: Easily entree information about concern records from one topographic point. Agenda activities. track them. and send electronic mail.Generate studies.Manage selling lists.Track advertisement and selling runs. Sort client responses to gross revenues and selling enterprises. Keep elaborate notes and an activity history for each concern record. Microsoft Dynamics CRM besides can run from within Microsoft Office Outlook. On top of the other benefits and functionalities mentioned above. Rhodus and Paris ( 2013 ) said that Microsoft CRM and ERP helps the company in integrating by making one position of client experience. edifice stronger relationship and making client familiarity. bettering direction visibleness. supply visibleness and entree to client relationship. etc. I believe that Microsoft Dynamics is the best package solution for the current state of affairs at Bandon Group. How to Write an Issue Essay - GRE Sample Questions

How to Write an Issue Essay - GRE Sample QuestionsHave you been thinking about writing an issue essay for a course or for an exam? Or are you just struggling with a standard essay? Do you need some advice? While I had to take a number of AP courses and I did go to high school, the last class I took was in high school. The problem is that the first couple of college classes I took were in college, so I don't know if they were lower level or if it was just the students at my college that didn't know how to write an essay. One thing I've learned over the years is that it's better to read and study and really get good at doing something over more general college-level classes. That said, I think that there is a difference between an essay and a question and I would like to explain what that is. Let's say you're taking an English literature class. On the first day of class, you have a presentation to give on your topic (usually) and you've written the first paragraph on a thesis statement. Y ou present the point and try to make it logical. After you give the introduction, the professor will ask you a question. Here's where it gets really interesting. This is where you have the choice to answer the question or not answer it. If you're lucky, the professor will ask you a specific question that is phrased in a way that you can use the first paragraph from your paper to help answer the question, but unfortunately this doesn't always happen. Now, you can still write an essay about the point you're trying to make. You just have to understand that there are situations where you have to either omit the first paragraph or you have to cite it somewhere else in the essay. It's all up to you.Another example is a hypothetical situation. In this case, you have a hypothetical situation in the present. A situation in the present is different from a scenario from a book. If you were asked a question about how to get a promotion, a scenario from a book might be a good answer.Basically, a u nique essay is one that is not based on a common theme or on anything you know. While your thesis statement may be similar to the point of an essay, it needs to be relevant to the essay's topic.

Christmas Tongue Twisters Alliteration Lesson Plan

Christmas Tongue Twisters Alliteration Lesson Plan Everyone knows the popular tongue twister She sells seashells on the sea shore. This Christmas, teach your students about alliteration and let them try and create a few fun holiday tongue twisters of their own. Heres how. Explaining Alliteration Start your lesson by saying the popular tongue twister mentioned above. Then, ask students if they have ever heard of this saying before. Discuss that this play on words is called alliteration, which is a literary element. Ask them if they can guess from your example what alliteration might mean. Try and get students to work towards a definition like this: Alliteration is defined as the repetition of consonants at the beginning of words in any piece of writing. Make sure that students understand that alliterative words do not have to start with same letter or letters but it can be like ( i.e. chilly and silly). You can give students the example below. The pots and pans were Peters prized possessions. Next, have students try and brainstorm some words. Write the letter H on the front board and ask students to try and think of names, place, animals, or food that begins with the same sound of that letter. Let them try and come up with at least five words for each category. Then, as a class try and come up with a tongue twister using the words from the categories. Tongue Twisters Once they have gotten the hang of what alliteration is and how it works, then you can let them loose to try and create festive tongue twisters on their own. Extend the lesson by asking your students to illustrate a tongue twister or two. Let them use a dictionary and/or thesaurus to kick their twisters up to the next level of complexity. Here are a few Christmas tongue twisters to get you started: Crazy kids clamor for candy canes and Christmas cookies.Toy trains travel and toot along the track.Hal had happy holiday holly.Prancer presents pumpkin pies and presents.Chilly children cheer and chant on chilly nights.Santa sings silly songs about sleighs slipping supper fast in the sun.Tiny Tim trims the tallest tree with tons of terrific tinsel.Red-nosed Rudolph romps readily round ruby wreaths.Blitzer bobbles a billion brilliant bells.Santas super sleigh slips so swiftly through the snow.Shiny stars sparkle on silver sleighs.Ten tiny toy soldiers tinker with twenty toy trains.Santas stuffed sack sags and slumps. The use of foul language Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 500 words

The use of foul language - Essay Example Tracing the origin of the rise of foul language is a very easy task since a quick click of the remote control will you lead you to a world where the utterances of defamatory, explicit, foul language is as natural as breathing. Foul language has already invaded our living rooms and learning it will take only a few minutes. Hence, it is imperative that the government puts into practice laws to control public use of bad language. The first step that our law enforcers should do is to discuss with the students and school authorities ways which could prevent students from using bad language to each other. As the students and the young people are the ones who spend the most time watching TV, they are also the ones who use foul language the most. What's worse is that, many students use defamatory and abusive expressions to each other which sometimes cause deeper problems such as fighting and bullying. School authorities, enforcers and students should make agreements to set up the rules with regards the avoidance of abusive language within the school premises.
